With the presence of the first vice president and minister of power,The Zemkan reservoir Dam impoundment began in Kermanshah province.

Zemkan reservoir Dam is a dam with a clay core. The reservoir volume of this dam is 23 million cubic meters.
Providing safe water for 530 hectares of gardens in the GAHVAREH county during dry years and reviving 1750 hectares of  cultivated land for farming, are the  goals of this dam construction project .
